Arranging food in your freezer

Do not put fresh food next to food that has
already been frozen to avoid causing the fro-
zen food to warm up.

Quick freeze

The "Quick Freeze" function enables you to
lower the freezer's temperature rapidly to the
maximum extent to freeze a large amount of
fresh food more quickly (see § "Starting and
setting the appliance").
You can place the food to be frozen in the
compartments of your freezer but for quicker
thorough freezing we recommend that you
place them in the "Quick Freeze" area, i.e. in
the first drawer from the top (see Drawing).
The food must be frozen right
through as quickly as possible in or-
der to preserve its vitamins, its nu-
tritional value, its appearance and
its taste.
The maximum weight of food that
you can freeze over 24 hours is
shown on the information plate (in-
side your appliance's refrigerator
section near the bottom of the left-
hand wall) under the heading: "CA-
PACITE DE CONGELATION/ FREE-
ZING CAPACITY (kg/24h)".
