4.6 ELECTRODE CLEANING AND SERVICING
Dip the electrode into a 2% chlorhidric acid solution. Wait five minutes and rinse it with alco-
hol.
It is advisable do not to leave the electrode dry; if it is stored for long time it must be covered
with the plastic cap appositely filled with water to keep it with its tip wet.

5.1- ON/OFF SYSTEM
After the calibration of the pump and the set of the desired value of mV , the on/off system will
drive the pump to maintain the Rx value in the plant equal to the chosen setpoint.
5.2 - PUT INTO OPERATION
After the hydraulic and electric connection following the instructions at 2.4 and 2.5 paragraph
connect the probe to the pump through the BNC jack by simply rotating it of 90°.
5.3 DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS
Typ Type of dosing
Allows to select Redoxing and Oxidizing dosing.
CA1 Calibration of the Zero :
the pump is ready for the calibration of the Zero.
CA2 Calibration of the Gain :
the pump is ready for the calibration of the Gain.
SET Set-point Adjustment :
The pump is ready for setpoint to be adjusted.
5.4 PROGRAMMING
Functioning:
Once the calibration and setpoints have been adjusted read point 1), otherwise read the point
2)
1) Press the F button until the Typ function– dosing function will appear.
Press the Enter button to confirm the choice and then press again Enter.
The pump starts to work (red led on).
2)CALIBRATION of the ZERO : Connect the two poles of the BNC on the pump ( input of
the Rx probe). Press the F button until the CA1 function – calibration function of the Zero-
will appear. Press Enter.
CALIBRATION of the GAIN : Immerse the Rx probe into the buffer solution (for ex. 465 mV).
