5 - CVI memory mapping

The memory of a tightening controller contains 7 main classes of information:
- Command area.
- Reading area.
- "Quick reports per spindle" area.
- "Result per spindle" area.
- Specific IsaGraf area.
- Option area
- The area for programming the phase parameters of a cycle.
REMINDER: A multi-spindle station consists of 32 spindles as a maximum (MULTICVI).
The master can access these 7 information areas in 2 ways:
- through acyclic messages.
- by using the memory transfer.

The size used for this area depends on the number of spindles and format type

Result Formatting Options

The result area consists of the following:
- a global report.
- a result area, the total size of which corresponds to the size of a spindle result multiplied by the number of spindles of
the station.
The description of a result per spindle depends on 3 options programmed in the tightening controller:
- The type of data allows you to decide whether or not the following data are to be saved: torque, angle, torque rate and
tension.
The type of data is programmed in word no.10 of the option area as follows:
Bit 0: Torque
Bit 1: Angle
Bit 2: Torque rate
E.g.: word no. 10 = 0x0007 Torque + Angle + Torque rate
- The data format allows you to select the coding of the information: ASCII or floating IEEE
The data format is programmed in word no.11 of the option area as follows:
0: ASCII
1: floating MOTOROLA
2: floating INTEL
- The type of values allows you to select the following information for each type of data saved: tolerances, final values
and reports.
The type of values is programmed in word no.12 of the option area as follows:
0: Tolerance + Final value + Report
1: Final value + Report
2: Report
These 3 options allow you to adapt the size and format of a result per spindle to the user needs
