1 Trimming controls for sensitivity adjustment of the left and
the right channel

Position BAR = bargraph display
Example: If a level of -12 dB is measured for a channel,
all LEDs "-45 dB" to "-12 dB" will light up.
Position DOT = dot display
Example: If a level of -12 dB is measured for a channel,
only the two LEDs "-12 dB" will light up.

5 Low voltage jack for connecting the supplied plug-in trans-

6 Stereo input AUDIO IN for connecting the output of the sig-

input of a subsequent unit (e. g. amplifier, second mixer,
tape unit)
2 Safety Notes
The VU meter and the plug-in transformer
evant directives of the EU and are therefore marked with
WARNING
The plug-in transformer uses dangerous mains
voltage (230 V~). Leave servicing to authorized
skilled personnel only. To prevent a shock haz-
ard, do not open the cabinet.
Please observe the following items in any case:

The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect them
against dripping water and splash water, high air humidity
and heat (admissible ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

Even with the VU meter switched off, the plug-in transformer
connected to the mains has a low current consumption.
G
Do not operate the VU meter or immediately disconnect the
plug-in transformer from the mains socket:
1. if there is visible damage to the VU meter or to the plug-in
transformer.
2. if a defect might have occurred after a unit was dropped
or suffered a similar accident.
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case, the VU meter and the plug-in transformer must
be repaired by authorized personnel.
