Regularly check the machine screws, that must be in
their seats and tightened. Replace any damaged, worn or
cracked parts. Check that the transmission shaft has
been mounted properly.
AIR FILTER fig. 4
- Regularly check the air filter, based on working
conditions.
- remove cover (1)
- remove filters (2)
- use only compressed air
- to not damage the paper of filter
- to not wash with water, gasoline or liquids
- to not put oil on the paper
- to change the filter if it is damaged
FUEL FILTER Fig. 5
Replace the fuel filter at least once a year.
- remove the tank plug
- empty the fuel tank
- To replace the filter, remove pipe lead (1) and extract
filter (2). Regularly check filter conditions. Replace if too
dirt.
ENGINE
To prevent engine overheating, regularly clean slots,
cylinder cover and fins from dirt, by means of a brush or
compressed air.
SPARK PLUG fig. 8
Regularly (at least every 50 hours) disassemble and clean
the spark plug and adjust the distance between
electrodes (0.5 ± 0.6).
Carefully follow all maintenance instructions described
above.
Clean the machine thoroughly and grease metal parts.
Remove all fuel from the tank and run the engine until it
stops from lack of fuel. Store the machine in a dry place.
8. REGULAR MAINTENANCE
Replace it, if too scaled or worn, and in any case after 100
hours of operation.
If too scaled, check the carburettor adjustment, the oil
percentage in the fuel (see the table in fig. 11/A), and
make sure that oil is of top quality and recommended for
2-stroke engines.
Type of spark plug provided: ACTIVE AX 80
HOOK fig. 9
The gasket (1) has been manufactured to protect branch
bark.
The gasket is subject to easy wear, due to its heavy duty.
To replace it, remove screws (2) and extract gasket (1)
from hook (6). To assemble it, follow the same procedure,
but in reverse.
Check it during work, and replace if necessary.
REDUCTION GEAR fig. 7
In case of oil leaks, repair the reduction unit immediately,
to prevent component damage.
Replace the oil in the gearbox every 200 hours of
operation.
Proceed as follows:
- Place the machine level on a oil collection container.
- remove plug (1)
- Drain into the waste oil container
- Pour 0.25 liters of oil into the reduction gear plug (type:
SAE 80W - 90
Regularly perform a visual check of oil level, through plug
