5. Other possibilities of use
5.1 Operation with immersion pump
By operating with an additional immersion pump, you have the option to pump the dirty water from the tank direct-
ly after running through the 4-stage settling tank. In this way, you can pump the accumulating waster water in a
drain pipe or operate the system in combination with a STORCH separating system (see 5.2 Operating with separating
system).
The pump kit (Item No. 61 20 07) comprises:
the pump with 5 m connection cable, the waste water pipe (2.5 m) that is already mounted on the pump, the screw
cap with screw support, a hose clamp for the pump hose and the filling hose with 2 hose clamps.
For connecting the pump, open the three clamp fasteners on the sides and lift the wash basin. You can place the wash
basin with the rear wall on the floor; please do not put down with the bottom side on the ground as there is a risk of
the siphon support breaking off on the drain. Make sure that the drain opening for the overflow pipe on the rear left
side wall of the outer tanks is closed using the screw cap including seal.
Now unscrew the large screw cap (see 3. Dimensions and installation diagram) and place the supplied screw support
onto the opening. Put the pump on the floor of the settling tank, a three-point lock is intended at the rear in the floor
there. If you want to operate the pump in conjunction with a separating system or via a separate pump switch, push the
switch on the pump in the uppr position (see Fig. 5). The pump then starts independent of the system filling level when
pressing the switch.
You can also operate the pump via a float switch installed in the pump that then pumps the accumulating washing
water away automatically. For this purpose, please switch the pump switch to the bottom position.

Now route the connecting cable and water hose through
the screw cap for the filling hose. If you are working with
a separating system, route the lines through the supplied
filling hose and secure this using the hose clamps provi-
ded.
Now connect connecting lines, water hose and filling
hose in the machine compartment of the separating
system as described in the operating manual of the sepa-
rating system. If you operate the pump without separa-
ting system, connect a three-pin earthed plug to the con-
necting cable and connect the hose with the waste water
connection.
The filling hose does not have to be assembled here.
Now place the wash area back on the basin and lock it
with the three clamp fasteners on the sides and plug the
three-pin earthed plug into the .socket (when operating
without separating system), the system is now functional.
5.2 Operation with separating system
Insert the pump in the WAMAB as described in 5.1 and connect the pump according to the wiring diagram of the sepa-
rating system operating manual. You can now operate the system as previously described.
Attention: note the filling level of the system. The dirty water must be pumped out of the tank using the separa-
ting system pump switch. If not observed, the tank may overflow.
5.3 Accessories
Pump kit for WAMAB, Item No. 61 20 07
For using the WAMAB in combination with a STORCH separating system or for pumping out from the slurry tank, if
this cannot be fed direct into the waste water network (see 5.1 Operation with immersion pump).
Spray kit for WAMAB, Item No. 61 20 03
