2. General instructions
2.1 Transport
The system is made of premium, recycling capable plastic (polyethylene). This material is characterized by its high
resilience to solvents and chemicals. Mechanical strength for industrial applications is given. However, it is important
to avoid impact and knocks during transport. There is a greater risk of breakage especially at temperatures below 5° C.
Damage due to incorrect transport is not covered by the warranty.
2.2 Installation
The system must be installed so that the front side can be accessed as work and operator side. The substrate on which
the system is set up must be level, smooth (e.g., screed) and firm. Material damage or cracks due to unsuitable sub-
strates are not covered by warranty. Remove the wash basin by opening the three clamp fasteners on the sides. Then
place the basin on the ground on the rear wall.
Attention: never put the wash basin down with the bot-
tom side on a level surface otherwise the siphon sup-
port may be damaged!
Make sure that the 4 settling tanks on the right side of
the basin are standing and have each been fitter with a
sliding vane (can be pulled out upwards). The front sett-
ling tank must also have the drain at the rear right side,
the second at the rear left, the third at the rear right and
the fourth at the rear left side. This is the only way to
ensure that the dirty water is directed in the indented
direction of flow and that the water can sediment in an
optimum manner.
Fig. 2: Arrangement of the settling tanks
If you are working without the pump kit (see 5.1 Opera-
tion with immersion pump), before starting the system,
use a large screwdriver or a coin to remove the sealing
plug at the bottom left side on the outer tank and repla-
ce it with the drain cock provided. Refit the sealing ring
from the sealing plug to the drain cock; we also recom-
mend that you seal the thread with sealing tape (Teflon
tape). For purposes of cleaning work, a water hose can be
connected to the drain cock and the water in the conta-
iner can be drained.
Now put the wash basin back onto the settling tanks and
close it using the clamp fasteners on the sides. It must be
placed on the rubber seal in such a manner that it closes
ait-tight and the siphon support of the drain fitting in the
first chamber protrudes into the first settling tank.
