10 Troubleshooting
9.1 Maintenance intervals
NOTICE
• The maintenance intervals given are standard values and refer to single-shift operation.
Observe the instructions given in EN 60974-4 „Inspection and test during the operation of arc welding equipment" and the
laws and guidelines valid in the respective country.
Check the following:
Weekly
Check the condition of the reamer.
Clean the clamping unit.
Clean the injection unit.
Remove the injection unit cover (1) and the thrust ring (3)
and check the rubber seal (2).

Empty the refuse container for wire scraps.

Monthly
Clean the injection unit's collection container if extremely
dirty.
We recommend basic cleaning on a monthly basis.
Troubleshooting
• Check all supply lines leading to the cylinder and all
threaded fittings
• Replace directional valve Y2
• Pneumatic motor defective; replace.
• Provide the pneumatic motor's serial number when
ordering.

• Replace the reamer
• Check torch dependent parts (reamer, clamping prism)
• Check the immersion depth of the torch
