Check tyre pressure and moving parts of the parking brake.
Annually
Full service by service engineer, adjust parking brake.
Contact your dealer for repair work. A service manual is available for the dealer.
Never clean the Power Support with a hose or high-pressure spraying pistol. The
•
Power Support should be cleaned with a damp cloth, if necessary with some
household soap dissolved in water.
Attention! In case of a malfunction, the Power Support system will not brake.
•
This may cause a dangerous situation on a slope, as the attendant receives
the full weight of the wheelchair and user. Therefore, immediately engage the
parking brake when identifying a malfunction.
In case of a malfunction, the on/off indicator will start flashing. This is a general
•
malfunction indication.
Action: check all motor connections. If necessary secure the plug connection of the
•
motor. In any other case, contact the service engineer.
If the lights/indicators on the control unit do not blink:
•
Action 1: check if the control unit cable is loose at the plug connection to the battery
pack.
Action 2: connect the battery charger, lift the wheelchair and carefully turn one of the
wheels. The Power Support should start charging. In any other case, contact the
service engineer.
If the battery indicator lights are flashing or lit constantly, the Power Support is
•
probably still charging. Remove the plug from the battery charger. The Power Support
is now ready for use.
In case of a flat tyre, the service engineer should be contacted. If you continue to
•
drive, you may damage the wheels.
