in the "0-OFF" position. Remove
the blade set by placing thumb
against the smaller cutter and
pushing downward, releasing the
cutter from the trimmer housing.
Replace with new cutting system
and reverse the removal proce-
dure, only this time place your
thumb on the large cutter and
snap into place. Be careful not to
use too much oil and don't oil your
trimmer more than necessary,
as this could damage the motor
(never attempt to oil the motor
bearing, as it is permanently lubri-
cated).
Blade care
Because the trimmer blades are
precision-made for a very spe-
cial use, they should always be
handled with care and cleaned re-
gularly to ensure maximum perfor-
mance. Each time you finish using
the trimmer, take the cleaning
brush provided and brush away
any loose hair that has collected in
the blades. Use a clean cloth to dry
the attachment, reattach and then
store the trimmer to protect the
blades until the next use.
DO NOT RINSE BLADE OR
TRIMMER HANDLE OR ADAPTER.
Be especially careful when chan-
ging or adjusting the blades. When
you have your trimmer serviced,
be sure both blades are sharpened
or replaced at the same time.
STORAGE: When not in use, your
appliance is easy to store. Allow
appliance to cool, then store in a
safe, dry location. Do not jerk or
strain cord at plug connections.
HOW TO USE COMB
ATTACHMENTS
• To use the comb attachments,
always turn the trimmer to the
"0-OFF" position.
• Slide the comb attachment onto
the front of the trimmer blade
and snap over the back of the
blade.
• To remove, push up the attach-
ment comb at the back of the
blade and remove comb.
ZERO GAP ADJUSTMENT TOOL
IMPORTANT! Only ever attempt
to zero gap the blades using the
adjustment tool, following the ins-
tructions very precisely.
The adjustment tool is required to
adjust the blades to zero gap, to
achieve a closer, more precise cut.
