I. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
I.1. Fan coil unit

The ventilators are balanced according VDI 2060 norm.
The heating medium may not be corrosive.
I.2. Application area
The Verco fan coil units are designed for heating or cooling offices,
hotel rooms, stores,...
Any other use, or disregard of these specifications, is not allowed,
unless agreed otherwise. Any damage as a result of an unauthentic
use, will be accounted on the entire responsability of the user.
The fan coil units may not be mounted in explosion hazardous rooms,
outside, in humid rooms, in rooms with a high concentration of dust
or agressive atmosphere, or in rooms with high electromagnetics
demands.
I.3. Modifications
Without prefatory approval of the manufacturer, no modifications or
alterations can be made to the fan coil unit.
I.4. Qualified personnel
Installation, electrical connection and repair are only to be performed
by specialists. Transport and commissioning are only to be performed
by trained service personnel.
Failure to comply with the specifications given by the manufacturer
will invalidate the guarantee.
I.5. Transport and storage
Verco fan coil units are packaged to comply with normal transport
requirements.
Transport and store the fan coil units in the original packaging.
On delivery, inspect the package and the fan coil units.
In case of transport damage, the recipient should immediately
complain to the forwarding company and describe the damage on
the delivery note.
Compare the delivery note and the label on the air curtains.
The fan coil units must be stored in the original packaging in a dry
FAN COIL UNITS
area , and be protected against dirt and weather.
Avoid exposure to extreme cold or heat, above the 50°C,
temperatures. The heat exchanger can freeze open if temperatures
go below the freezing-point.
I.6. Safety instructions
The concerned safety prescriptions and the approved rules of
the technic should be followed in case of installation, electrical
connection and commissioning.
Power supply interrupted and secured.
Fan impeller has come to a stop.
Beware, after functioning, the fan coil units can be hot, also the
accessories and piping.
Apply personnel safety regulations : wear safety shoes and gloves,
and a work dress.
I.7. Guarantee
The guarantee on the fan coil units, in case of normal use, is 10
years on the heat exchanger, 2 years on the fan and 1 year on the
electrical equipment, after delivery date. The guarantee covers only
the replacement of the broken components with exclusion of all other
costs.
Are also excluded of the guarantee :
- corrosion damage
- damage due to wrong installation, connection or treatement
- when the client failed to fullfill his obligations towards Verco
In case of a complaint, mention the fabrication number, sticked on
the casing, to Verco.

Therefore the manufacturer is entitled, without prior notification, to change a
component or characteristic of a product. This manual has the only purpose
to facilitate the installation, use and maintenance. It occurs that the given
information isn't in accordance with the product when the product is adapted
to meet the local requirements or other specifications. When this is the case,
please contact the nearest sales office.
