6.5 Adjust the splitter (Fig. (8-9)
Caution: Pull out the power plug.
Set and lock the saw blade (4) to max. cutting
depth into the 0° position.
Disassemble the saw blade guard (see 6.2.)
Remove the table inserts (6) (see 6.3)
Loosen the fixing screws (19).
6.5.1. Settings for maximum cuts (Fig. 7-9)
Push up the splitter (5) until the gap between the
saw table (1) and the upper edge of the splitter
(5) is at approx. 10 cm.
The distance between saw blade (4) and splitter
(5) should be 3-5 mm
Re-tighten the screws (19) and assemble the
table inserts (6) (Fig.7)
7. Operation
7.1. ON/OFF switch (Fig. 10)
The saw can be switched on by pressing the
green button "I". Before starting to saw, wait until
the saw blade has reached its maximum rotation
speed.
In order to switch the saw off again, the red
button "0" must be pressed.
7.2. Cutting depth (Fig.10)
By turning the hand crank (8), the saw blade (4) can
be adjusted to the desired cutting depth.
Anticlockwise direction: larger cutting depth
Clockwise direction: smaller cutting depth
7.3. Parallel stop
7.3.1. Stop height (Fig. 11-14)
The supplied parallel stop (7) has 2 different
guide faces.
According to the thickness of the material to be
cut, the stop rail (23) must be used according to
Fig. 12 for thick material and according to Fig. 11
for thin material.
To adjust the stop rail (23) on the lower guide
face, both knurled screws (26) must be loosened,
in order to loosen the stop rail (23) from the
holder (24).
Remove both knurled screws (26) through the
slot (27) in the stop rail (23) and insert them into
the other slot (25).
Reassemble the stop rail (23) onto the holder
(24).
The changeover to the higher guide face must be
carried out in analog mode

7.3.2. Cutting width:
The parallel stop (7) has to be used when making
longitudinal cuts in wooden workpieces.
The parallel stop (7) can be assembled on either
side of the saw table (1).
The parallel stop (7) must be inserted into the
chain bar (28) of the saw table (1).
By using the scale (22) on the chain bar (28), the
parallel stop (7) can be adjusted to the desired
dimension.
The scale (22) is doubly labelled. Depending on
whether you are using the high or low guide face
of the stop rail (23), use the corresponding scale.
(Fig 15)
By pressing the eccentric lever (12) the parallel
stop can be secured in the desired position.
7.3.3. Adjusting the stopping length (Fig. 16)
In order to avoid jamming of the workpiece, the
stop rail (23) is longitudinally adjustable.
Rule of thumb: The rear end of the stop is
connected to an imaginary line, which begins
approximately at the middle of the saw blade, and
runs towards the rear at an angle of 45°.
Slacken the knurled screws (26) and push the
stop rail (23) forward until it touches the imaginary
45° line.
Re-tighten knurled screws (26)
7.4 Cross Stop (Fig. 17)
Insert the cross stop (14) into the groove (21) of
the saw table.
Loosen knurled screw (20)
Turn the cross stop (14) until the arrow points to
the angle required.
Re-tighten the knurled screws (20)
When cutting larger workpieces, the cross stop
(14) can be lengthened with the stop rail (23) of
the parallel stop (7).
Caution:
Do not push the stop rail (23) too far toward the
blade.
The distance between the stop rail (23) and the
saw blade (4) should be approx. 2 cm.
7.5. Setting the angle (Fig. 10)
Loosen the locking grip (9)
By turning the handle (10) the desired angle on
the scale can be set.
Lock the locking grip (9) to the desired angularity.
