Fit the regulator or gate and the non-return valve to the con-
nection socket for the wastewater pipe, seal any screw con-
nections and tighten the hose clamps.
NOTICE! Wastewater must not be allowed to enter the com-
pressor, and for this reason the non-return valves and stop
valves must be checked after installation.
NOTE REGARDING INSTALLATION IN A BUILDING PROVIDED
BY THE CUSTOMER.
Compressors must be located in a well-ventilated, dry and
dust-free room which is protected against flooding.
Please also follow the instructions given in the compressor
manual, the noise control directive and VDMA standard 4363
on "Ventilation and insulation of compressor rooms".
NOTICE! The flushing device with a pressure switch must
always be fitted as a link between the compressor and the
wastewater pipe.
Fitting the aeration hose (PSV)
Before fitting the aeration hose, it is important that the pump
sump or chamber is cleaned and well ventilated. There must
not be any hazardous or explosive gases in the chamber. All in-
lets must also be closed.
The aeration hose must be fixed above the pump housing on
the chamber wall. The enclosed wall-plugs for cable ties must
be inserted in 6 mm dril lholes to a depth of 40 mm. Insert a ca-
ble tie through the opening in the wall-plug. This cable tie must
be used to fix the aeration hose and also the connecting hose.
NOTICE! Take care not to crush the hose when attaching it.
If when installing the aeration hose it is found that the pressure
sensors are hanging close to the aeration hose, then a closed
tube must be fitted between them in this area (50 cm are en-
closed).

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

NOTICE! Only qualified electricians may carry out electrical
works to the system or the control.
WARNING!
Before carrying out any work, pull out the mains plug and ensure
that the power supply to the unit cannot be switched on again by
anyone else.
The relevant standards (such as EN standards), country-spe-
cific regulations (such as VDE in Germany), and the regulations
of the local power supply companies must be observed.
Breeze PSV pump control
The pump control must be connected to the Breeze control via
a NC contact (refer to circuit diagram).
NOTICE! The pump itself must be fitted with a flushing pipe
(accessory).
Alarm
The mains-dependent alarm system, included as a stand-
ard feature, reports faults both visually and acoustically.
The acoustic signal can be acknowledged or completely
switched off.
If an acoustic signal would be inappropriate at the installa-
tion site in question, an alarm signal can be relayed via the
potential-free contact. The maximum load for the change-
over contact of the collective error is 3 A, 250 V AC.
OPERATION
Please also observe any relevant advice given in the compres-
sor manual.

Automatic operation

Automatic operation is the normal operating mode of the unit.
The aeration time and aeration intervals depend upon the di-
ameter of the wastewater pipe and the system pressure.
You can look up the various values in the tables in the appendix
and set these in the control.
Manual operation
"Handmodus" can be selected in the main menu of the con-
trol. In this mode, individual components and functions can be
switched on and off.
Shutting down
In manual mode, all components can be made "inactive", but
they are still connected to the power supply.
WARNING!
Before carrying out any repair and maintenance work on the
system, the system must be disconnected from the power sup-
ply (main switch). It is not sufficient to just switch it to an "inac-
tive" state.
