Fitting instructions
Attention :
Before assembling the towbar, firstly order a replacing piece for the fog lamp fixation.

1)
Disassemble the bumper and disassemble the fog lamp together with the fog lamp holder out of the
bumper, the fog lamp holder expires, keep the cage nuts in the middle of the bumper (see fig. 1).
Permanently remove the metal buffer beam.
2)
Place the supporting arms (1) and (2) in the liberated openings at the back of the chassis beam, point (A)
matches the already provided drillings in the outside of the chassis beam. These are sealed with tape
which has to be removed. Insert the bolts and washers but do not tighten yet.
3)
Place the towbar between the supporting arms so that points (B) and (C) match the drillings in the
supporting arms. Insert the bolts and screw everything firmly on (see tension).
4)
Make the incisions in the underside of the bumper according to figure 2.
5)
Assemble the fog lamp in the optional holder (CC29-V7-250 or 1550MIST-H) according to figure 3.
6)
Assemble the optional holder on the bumper (see fig. 4).
7)
Assemble the bumper on the vehicle.
8)
Assemble the ball together with the socket holder and the security shackle, insert the bolts and tighten
firmly (see tension).
Disassemblage of the bumper
- 2 plastic rivets at the bottom of the bumper
- 2 small screws at the bottom of the bumper at the height of the wheel cases
- 2x2 small screws to loosen and to remove the splashboards
- 2 small screws on the entrance of the trunk
- detach the sides and loosen backwards
Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
