2. Function

The
permitting the control of blind/shutter motors operating on 24 V DC.
The insert is installed in combination with a
timer
By exchanging the attachment, the device offers the possibility of being operated by
way of manual control, comfortable remote control or fully automatic timer control.
The insert works on the 'polarity-exchange principle', i.e. the sense of rotation of the
blind/shutter motor is determined by changing the polarity of the motor outputs (see
figure).
Extension inputs permit the connection of further 24 V DC motor control inserts.
The
motors (parallel connection) with a maximum total current consumption of 3 A.
Observe the instructions of the motor manufactuers.

The insert has 6 connecting terminals and a connector to make contact with the
attachment. A 3-pole terminal block (supplied with the attachment with sensor input)
can be placed in the insert.
This terminal block is used for connecting the embedded sun protection / twilight
sensor and /or the glass breakage sensor cable. The sensor signals are evaluated in
the attachment. The twilight function is available only in combination with the
RolloTec ® clock timer attachment module with sensor input.
