4. Fitting instructions

Important: The sensor line carries supply potential (SELV). Observe the fitting
instructions of VDE 0100.
Sensor conection:
Cable laid under the surface (fig. A):
Choose a suitable sensor cable for laying under the surface.
Recommendation: telephone cable J-Y(ST)Y 2x2x0,6 mm. The cable is passed
through hole of the insert and laid along the cable groove
terminal . The terminal block (supplied with attachments with sensor connection)
is placed into the insert as shown in the figure.
Cable laid on the surface (attachment with sensor connection) (fig. B):
The sensor cable is passed behind the supporting frame (between wall and
frame) through opening into the cable groove of the insert and then led directly
along the groove to terminal block . Make sure the cable is placed properly in the
groove.
