providing 24 V DC SELV. The power supply must ensure safe separation between
the primary and the secondary side.
The blind/shutter motor is to be connected to the motor terminals of the 24 V insert.
If the motor runs in the wrong direction, the connecting wires must be interchanged.

Connection of extension inputs
Extension inputs '1' and '2' may only be connected to 24 V DC SELV.
The sense of running of the blind/shutter motors is dependent on the polarity of the
extension input connection. The figure on the left shows the sense of running of the
motor for the two different polarities.

extension unit (blind/shutter pushbuttons with mecanical interlock).
With blind/shutter pushbuttons, the insert cannot be operated in the maintained-
contact mode (continuous run). The blind/shutter must be moved to the desired
position by depressing and holding the pushbuttons.
If this is not acceptable, a blind/shutter control switch with mechanical interlocking
must be used.
The

extension only if the insert and the extension are supplied from the same 24 V
power supply unit. Only in this case are the insert and the extension on the same
potential so that it is sufficient to switch only the
potential via the mechanical
extension.
If the extension is supplied (e.g. in a central control configuration) from another
power supply unit, it is necessary to use a
