Taking into operation
Prior to taking any complete equipment or protective system that utilizes
the enclosure into service, the tests specified in the relevant national
regulations and IEC/EN 60079-0 and IEC/EN 60079-14 shall be carried out.
In addition, the correct use and installation of the empty enclosure in
accordance with these operating instructions and other applicable
regulations shall be checked.
Only equipment certified enclosures may be installed and put
into operation.
Incorrect installation and use of the empty enclosure can
invalidate the guarantee.

Maintenance / Servicing
The relevant national regulations which apply to the mainte-
nance/repair of electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres, shall
be observed (IEC/EN 60079-17).
The required maintenance intervals depend on the specific application and
shall therefore be determined by the user dependent on the conditions of
use.
When servicing the equipment, particularly those parts that are decisive
for the type of protection against explosion, shall be checked (e.g.
intactness and tightness of the enclosure, efficiency of the gaskets and
the cable devices).
If during servicing, repairs prove to be necessary, section 8 of these
operating instructions shall be observed.

Repairs / Overhaul / Modifications
Overhaul and repairs may only be carried out with original EATON /Cooper
Crouse-Hinds GmbH spare parts.
Repairs that affect the explosion protection, may only be carried
out by EATON / Cooper Crouse-Hinds GmbH or a qualified electrician
in compliance with the applicable national rules (IEC/EN 60079-19).
Modifications to the equipment or changes of its design are
not permitted.

Disposal / Recycling
When the empty enclosure is disposed of, the respective national
regulations on waste disposal shall be observed.
Subject to modifications or supplement of the product range.
