WATER TREATMENT
The chemical treatment and maintenance, as well as complete replacement of the water when recommended
and/or necessary, is a factor of fundamental importance to enjoy the features of your mini-pool to the full.
It is extremely important that the water is always clean, sanitised and appropriately treated for the comfort
and health of all users.
Gre declines all responsibility for any type of non-compliance or damage caused by improper water
treatment and/or for the use of non-compliant products.
The chemicals should be dosed little by little in the skimmer with the filtration pump running, and
should never be placed directly into the pool.
Remove the chemicals when the pump is not running.
The ideal chemical levels for your mini-pool are:
• pH: 7.2 - 7.6
• Bromine/Chlorine: 2 - 5 mg/l (ppm)
• Chlorine: 1 - 3 mg/l (ppm)
• Total alkalinity: 80 - 120 mg/l (ppm)
• Hardness: 150 - 250 mg/l (ppm)
• Total dissolved solids less than 1500 mg/l (ppm)
It is advisable to constantly monitor the chemical values of the pool water, which can be measured with:
• TEST KIT with reagents: it is a method that provides a good level of precision but which is limited to
measuring pH and chlorine only.
• MULTITEST STRIPS: generally they provide the possibility to also measure the alkalinity and the hard-
ness of the water. This measurement system is only accurate if the strips are protected from humidity which
can affect their degree of precision.
It must be taken into account that the frequency with which to check the water quality depends on the level
of intensive use of the mini-pool.
Chemicals should be gradually dosed into the skimmer with the filtration pump running, and should never be
inserted directly into the pool.
When using chemical products, carefully read the labels printed on the packaging and follow the instructions
provided. Although chemicals protect you and your pool, if used incorrectly and/or in excessively concentrat-
ed doses, they can become dangerous.
