• Keep the device away from children in
order to avoid potential hazards.
• Do not use attachments that are not rec-
ommended by the manufacturer.
Only use the device:
• On humans
• For external use
• For the purpose for which it was devel-
oped and in the manner specified in
these instructions for use.
• This unit is not intended for commercial
or clinical use, but only for individual, pri-
vate household use.
• Improper use can be dangerous!
• In acute emergencies, first aid takes pri-
ority.
• The device carries the CE mark and con-
forms to EU regulations on medical de-
vices.
• Keep the unit far away from sources of
heat and do not use it in close proximity
(~1 m) to shortwave or microwave units
(e.g. cell phones), as these can lead to
unwanted current peaks.
• If the unit has fallen or been dropped,
exposed to extreme moisture or incurred
other types of damage, it must no longer
be used. The device must not be sub-
jected to high temperatures or direct sun-
light and should not be used in the pres-
ence of inflammable gases.
• Do not immerse the unit in water or other
liquids and do not allow liquids to enter
the unit.
• The unit must not be used in environ-
ments with high humidity, such as in the
bathroom or when bathing or showering.
• The device is not approved for use in the
vicinity of the heart.
• Do not use: in the vicinity of the mouth,
throat, larynx, neck or carotid artery.
Warning
• Do not use after consuming substances
which lead to reduced awareness (e.g.
medication for pain relief, alcohol).
• If the device is used by several people, we
recommend disinfecting the tip before use.
This should be performed using a disinfec-
tant from a specialist retailer, in accordance
with the manufacturer's instructions. Each
user should also have their own electrode
set for hygiene reasons.
• Ensure that during stimulation, no metal-
lic objects such as belt buckles or neck-
laces can contact the acupuncture tip. If
you wear jewellery or piercings (such as
a navel piercing) you must remove these
before using the unit, as otherwise local-
ised burns may result.
• When using the unit for the first time, do
so while sitting or standing. If you start to
feel faint, shut off the unit immediately
and elevate your legs (for approx. 5 –10
min.).
• The treatment should be pleasant. If the
device does not function correctly or if
you begin to feel unwell, stop using the
device immediately and, if necessary,
consult your doctor.
• Do not use the unit if you have a
pacemaker or other implants fit-
ted, such as an insulin pump or
metallic implants.
