System requirements
For operation, you will require:
u
a PC with at least 466 MHz and one of the following operating systems:
Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP
u
64 MB RAM and at least 30 MB free hard disk space
u
a free PC card slot (Cardbus)
u
a CD-ROM drive or a DVD drive
Procedure for installation
To establish Internet access using Access Point, proceed as follows:
1. First install the Gigaset PC Card 108 on a PC.
2. Then install the Access Point. This is described in the operating instructions
for the device in question.
3. Set up the connection from the Gigaset PC Card 108 to the Access Point.
Installation of Gigaset PC Card 108 on a PC
Notes:

Do not insert the Gigaset PC Card 108 into a slot on your PC until the instal-
lation software prompts you to do so.
u
When installing the Gigaset PC Card 108, the SSID (Service Set ID) of all
the wireless network components must be identical.
u
You may require administrator rights for the installation process on
your PC.
