If the cable is damaged, do never use the appliance.
Wear protective gloves, goggles, ear
protection, solid shoes and long trousers.
Longer material used for crushing, which protrudes from
the appliance, may suddenly lash when drawing in and
therefore, keep safety distance and work with caution.
Caution to rotating cutting blade. Do never put your
hands and legs in the hole. (Fig. D)
Make sure the bystanders are not hit or injured by
hurled materials.
Keep bystanders in safe distance from the appliance.
Wait until all parts of the appliance stop and then you can
touch them.
Do never use the appliance during raining.
Do never stand on the collection box.
Do not touch the filling hopper during operation. After
turning off, the appliance runs down for a while.
Children and persons not familiar with the appliance and
physically and mentally handicapped persons or persons
with sensorial limitations must not operate the appliance.
The appliance must be assembled according to user guide
before turning it on.
Use FI switch and check it before each use.
Use extension cables protected against splashing water
and those approved for outdoor use only.
Do not touch the socket and plug if your hands are
moist or wet.
Do never cross the power or extension cable, do not
squeeze, pull or jerk the cable. Protect the cable against
excessive temperature, oil and sharp edges.
No persons and animals may be present within three
metres distance during operation. Operator in working
zone is responsible against third parties.
Use genuine accessories only.
Do not wear wide clothes, long strings and ties.
Use the appliance on a free place with flat and solid
surface.
Do not use the appliance on either paved or gravel
surface. Ejected material may cause injury.
Check all bolts, nuts and other fixing parts and their
tightness as well as safeguards with respect to their
placement before use. Replace damaged or illegible
warning and information decals.
Make sure the filling hopper is empty before turning the
appliance on.
Keep your face and body out of reach of the filling hopper.
Avoid approaching of your hands, other body parts
and clothes to the filling hopper and ejection hole. (Fig. D)
Turn off the appliance before coupling and uncoupling of
the collection bag.
Always ensure balance and a safe stance. Do not lean
over ahead too much and do not stand higher than the
appliance leg when filling the hopper.
Keep distance from the ejection zone.
To a maximum extent possible make sure the material
being processed does not include metal parts, stones,
bottles, cans and other foreign things.
If foreign thing gets in the appliance, turn it off; the
appliance sounds abnormally or vibrates. Unplug the
appliance from socket and continue as follows:

assess damage;
-
replace all damaged parts or make them
repaired;

check if the parts are free and retighten, if
necessary.
Do never attempt to repair the appliance despite you are
properly trained for this purpose.
Make sure the material being processed does not
accumulate in the ejection shaft; transport of the material
is prevented and reverse impact in the filling hopper may
take place.
If the appliance is clogged, turn it off and wait until running
down. Unplug the appliance from socket before removing
the material being shredded from the appliance.
Check whether the safeguards and covers are intact and
connected properly. Perform maintenance or repair, if
needed, before use.
Do never attempt to change engine revolution settings. In
case of problems, contact a specialist.
Keep ventilation holes without residues and other deposits
to avoid engine damage and potential fire.
Do never lift or remove the appliance if it is on and
running.
Turn the appliance off, wait until the cutting mechanism
stops, and unplug the appliance every time you leave the
workplace.
Do never tilt the appliance during operation.
Do never expose the appliance to rain and moisture. Store
the appliance on a dry place only.
Do never attempt to disengage the forced turning off.
Application according to intended use
The appliance is intended for shredding of fibrous and
woody garden waste for composting purposes. Collection
bag or collection box is intended only for collection of
shredded material (not for storing). Do never stand on the
collection box.
