VERTICAL GUIDE ADJUSTMENT
The play in the sliding guide of the operating arms
support vertical carriage may increase. If it does the
operator can perform a simple adjustment to restore
optimal play and guarantee a precise movement of
the moving parts.
For a correct adjustment use the screws (2 & 3,Fig.
6-3), by following the instructions below.
Procedure:
Before starting the adjustment, check the correct
position of the sliding pads (1,Fig. 6-2) inside the guide.
Note:
If there are any faults or failures of the pads,
consult the technical support service.
Loosen the upper nut (2,Fig. 6-3) with a 17 wrench.

Tighten the Allen screw completely with the wrench
•
(4,Fig. 6-3).
Note:Tighten fully but not excessively.
Once the screw has been screwed fully, back it
•
off by about a 1/4 of a turn; this guarantees the
minimum play necessary to allow the vertical
carriage to slide correctly.
Keep the adjustment screw in position with the
•
Allen wrench (4,Fig. 6-4), then tighten the nut with
the 17 wrench (5,Fig. 6-4).
Proceed in the same way to adjust the lower nut
•
(3,Fig. 6-3).
Check that the vertical carriage slides freely
•
throughout its stroke.
If the play and sliding conditions are not satisfactory
at the end of the procedure, repeat the operation and
adjust the two adjustment screws.
Note:
If the optimal operating conditions are not
achieved, contact the technical support
service.
6.2 Storage
In case the machine is not to be used for a long
period of time (6 months or more) it is necessary to
disconnect all power sources, protect all parts that
may be damaged, protect the air hoses that may be
damaged by the drying process.
When putting the machine back in operation, check
fi rst the condition of all previously protected parts and
check for the correct functioning of all devices before
using the machine again.
