3.1 Optional accessories

Pax adapter kit
- cod.: EAA0329G32A
Allows demounting and mounting of Pax System tires
even on conventional tire changers if fi tted with MH
PRO bead presser.
The kit is supplied complete with instructions for
installation and use.

Bead Presser Inserts Unit
- cod.: EAA0377G23A
This accessory consists of a set of plastic inserts
fi xed so that they are equidistant on a towing cable.
The inserts hold the bead down in the rim channel,
guaranteeing easy bead insertion.
Instructions for use (Fig. 3.1-3):
Connect the end of the accessory to the bead
•
presser tool (A).
Position the bead presser tool close to the roller,
•
with both on the side of the tire.
Lower the tool and the roller on the side of the tire
•
to make space for insertion of the inserts.
Place the fi rst insert between the rim and the tire.
•
Rotate the turntable to move the fi rst insert away
•
and insert the second. Continue in this way until
all or some of the inserts available are in place, as
required.

Demounting disk tool

To break the tire bead directly on the turntable.
Remove the roller from the bead presser and fi t
•
the disk tool.
Move the disk towards the tire bead, next to the
•
edge of the rim.
Rotate the turntable.
•
Lubricate the bead and lower the disk in steps until
•
the bead breaks.
Bead Breaking on Turntable
Breaking the upper bead when the wheel is clamped
on the turntable will work ONLY if the lower bead has
already been broken with the standard bead breaker.
Please note that due to the various designs of rims and
tires it may not always be possible to break the upper
bead on the turntable for some wheels.
