tes under clear, running, lukewarm water!
Then consult a physician immediately!
• If acid has spilled onto clothing, wash it out
with plenty of soap and water.
• Never wear rings, necklace, watches, etc.
when handling batteries or chargers. There
is a risk of fi re and explosion if the battery
contacts short circuit!
• The power pack is only designated as a star-
ter aid for a vehicle with an own battery. The
power pack cannot replace the vehicle battery.
• Always store the terminal clamps in the de-
signated holder to prevent any short circui-
ting when the power pack isn't being used.
• Do not attempt to remove and replace the
battery of the power pack. Once the battery
life is over, dispose
of the entire power pack in compliance with
local disposal regulations.
• Do not charge the battery of the power pack
with a damaged charger.
• Use only the charging accessories that are
included with the device.
• Never attempt to start a frozen battery, as
this could cause an explosion.

6.2 CHARGING THE POWER PACKS

The power pack is delivered partially charged. After initial

purchase/prior to fi rst use, make sure that the power pack
is fully charged.
6.2.1 CHARGING WITH THE PLUG-IN CHARGER
Turn the on-off switch (position 1 in the overview) to
the OFF position. Plug the coaxial power connector of
the plug-in charger (position 13 in the overview) into
the charging socket of the power pack (position 4 in the
overview). Now plug the plug-in charger into the socket.
