Apply the drive bit to the screw head and press
the ON/OFF switch.
Carefully insert the bolt or nut in the thread before
you actuate the electric screwdriver. A torque of
approximately 40-50 Nm per pulse is generated
on standard bolts of size M12/M14. On motor
cars, each bolt should be tightened with two pul-
ses. Each bolt should then be checked with one
additional pulse. A total torque of between 120
and approximately 150 Nm is thus achieved.
Three pulses are recommended on heavy vehic-
les (e.g. luxury cars, off -road vehicles, etc.). Each
bolt should then be tightened in diametrically
opposed order with one additional pulse. A total
torque of approximately 170 - 230 Nm is thus
achieved.
Check the threaded connections for signs of da-
mage after tightening.
Important!
Always tighten and check wheel nuts with a
torque wrench set to the torque specifi ed by
the manufacturer of the vehicle in question.
6. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
6.1 Cleaning
•
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it with compressed air at low
pressure.
•
We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished
using it.
•
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-
tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-
re that no water can seep into the device. The
ingress of water into an electric tool increases
the risk of an electric shock.
