Function and features
The climatic tube protects the level sensor when used in water and
hydrous solutions with temperatures > 35°C against permeation of
water.
Not suitable for acids and alkalis.
Not suitable for oils.

Mounting
1. Screw the adapter to the
process connection and tight-
en it.
2. Push the climatic tube into the
adapter and set the requested
installation length (L).
Max length above the nut:
150 mm.
The maximum permissible
medium temperature accord-
ing to the data sheet only
applies for flush installation
(length value L = 0). At maxi-
mum length the maximum
medium temperature is reduced by 10°C.
3. Tighten the nut (C). Tightening torque: 6 - 8Nm.
Insertion of the level sensor
Hold the sensor straight and insert it into the climatic tube by turning
it slightly until you feel a stop. Make sure that the inner O-ring does
not move out of the groove.
Operation
Ensure that the area around the ventilation cap is dry. In particular it
must not be directly exposed to leaking steam.
Removal / Cleaning
Loosen the clamping device (C3) and pull the climatic tube, together
with the adapter, out of the process connection. The clamping of the
adapter and the climatic tube is thus prevented from damage and the
installation length (L) is maintained.
