Cooking advice

Electric hot plates do not require a special pan. However thin-walled pans transfer heat to the food more
quickly than those with thicker walls.
Pans with a thick edge prevent partial overheating as they guarantee a sufficient hear compensation.
Avoid excessively small pans. Wide, shallow pans are better suited than ones which are narrow and very
deep, as they guarantee quicker heating. Cooking is not made quicker by placing narrow pans on wide hot
plates. The only result is a waste of energy. For most appropriate use, place smaller pans on the small hot
plates and larger pans on the large hot plates.
In order to reduce energy consumption, it is advised that you place a lid on the pans.
During use the appliance becomes hot; the door and any exterior surface may be burning hot.
Do not use pans without a flat edge or with a cavity.
Do not use dented or misshapen pans.
Do not use leave hot plates lit when not in use.
Never cook food in direct contact with the ceramic
glass surface.
Avoid sliding or dragging pans on the ceramic
glass surface.
