TEMPERATURE SELECTION:
Check whether the garment you are going to iron has a label indicating the
ironing temperature. We recommend you classify the garments according to
their required ironing temperature and begin with the garments that are
ironed with the lowest temperature (
– SYNTHETIC FIBRES, minimum temperature (
– SILK, WOOL, medium temperature (
– COTTON, high temperature (
– LINEN, MAX temperature
N.B. Ironing delicate garments at a temperature higher than necessary spoils
the fabric and causes burnt residue to stick to the soleplate.
IRONING WITH STEAM
• With the iron unplugged from the mains, slide the steam control Fig.1 (5)
to the closed position Fig. 2.
• Open the water filler hole Fig.1 (2). Fill the tank with water (no additives)
without exceeding the maximum level, using the beaker provided Fig.1 (10)
and keeping the iron in the horizontal position Fig. 3. When the tank is full,
close the cap.
• Given the importance of correctly maintaining your iron's steam chamber,
we recommend that you follow the instructions below. You have the follow-
ing options, depending on the hardness of the water in your home. If you
do not know the hardness of the water in your home, ask for information
