3.4.1 Settings via the menu
The control buttons are located behind the screw
sleeve (4) To access the control buttons, hold
the microphone head and screw off the sleeve
1) Keep the button SET (7) pressed for 2 seconds
until SEtUP is briefly shown on the display
(fig 1, page 10)
2) Press the button SET repeatedly until the
menu item desired is shown
3) Use the button
or
then press the button SET again to save the
setting The display will briefly show StorE as
a confirmation; then the menu will be exited
4) To exit the menu without any changes, press
the button SET repeatedly until CAnCEL is
briefly shown on the display

Group 1 – 6 and channel 1 – 22*
For simultaneous operation of multiple
wireless microphones, 6 groups with up
to 22 channels each have been defined
(see page 15). In good conditions, all
channels of a group can be used at the
same time.
First set the group number (left digit),
then press SET and set the channel num-
ber. Use SET to save the settings.
Transmission frequency*, as an alterna-
tive to selection of group and channel
First adjust the frequency in steps of
1 MHz, then press SET and make a fine
adjustment in steps of 0.025 MHz. Use
SET to save the adjustments.
Microphone sensitivity, to match the
microphone to volume of the voice/
instrument
Adjust the sensitivity according to the
indication AF of the receiver in such
a way that an optimum signal level is
obtained. If the sensitivity is too high,
the microphone signal will distort; in this
case, press the button
value (min. −15 dB). If the volume is too

Identification number (ID no.)
The ID number is essential for the
REMOSET function. The receiver R-4 / 5
can only transfer the settings of its
receiver sections to the corresponding
wireless microphones when the ID
numbers of the receiver sections and of
the microphones match (e. g. receiver
sections 1– 4 with ID numbers 5 – 8 for
the microphones with ID numbers 5 – 8).

3.4.2 REMOSET function
For the REMOSET function, make sure that
1 no menu is called up on the microphone or
on the receiver
2 the microphone is switched on and close to
the receiver (REMOSET transmission range:
approx 10 m)
3 the microphone and the corresponding re-
ceiver section are set to the same identifi-
cation number (ID no ) and the REMOSET
function is enabled (see chapter 3 4 1) To
show the ID no , briefly press the button
4 the symbol
(= batteries discharged) on
