Drill 2 holes in the wall at the chosen location with an 7 mm drill bit: make sure these
holes are horizontal and 57,2 mm apart. Insert plugs and screws into the holes. Allow
the screws to stick out by 10 mm. Hook the heater over the screws using the hanging
eyes, then slide to the right and pull downwards.
Check whether the heater is secured to the wall; if
necessary insert the screws a little further into the
plugs.
Attach the heater using the materials supplied (see
diagram). Place the bracket on top of the heater
(see diagram) with the short side against the wall.
Mark the location of the hole on the wall and remove
the heater. Drill a hole at the marked spot and insert
a plug. Now hang the heater in place and screw the
bracket to the wall, as shown in the diagram. The
heater is now installed.
Using for the first time and Operation
Unroll the electrical cable entirely and insert the plug into a suitable 220/240V socket.
The display shows the temperature.
With remote control:
Press the ON/OFF button: the fan will begin to rotate. The display also shows the fan
symbol.
By pressing the MODE button one or more times, you can set the heater to half of full
power or select just fan. At half output (1000W), one red signal light will be lit; at full
output (2000W), two red signal lights will be lit; no lights will show when only the fan is
on. The fan symbol will stay illuminated during heating.
The thermostat is set to 25°C, as standard. If the room has reached this temperature,
the heather will automatically switch off. If the temperature drops to 3 degrees under
the set temperature, it will automatically switch back on again. If you would like to set
the thermostat higher or lower, then press the + (higher) or – (lower) button. The set
temperature will then appear on the display and go up or down one degree each time
you press the + or – button. The display shows the set temperature for 3 seconds,
then shows the current temperature. By pressing the CANCEL button, you delete the
set temperature and revert back to the preset 25°C.
If you press 'Oscillation' when the device is on, the flap will move up and down
vertically and create a natural breeze. Pressing this button again will switch the
function off.
Press the ON/OFF button again in order to switch the heater off. When you have been
using the device to provide heat, it will cool off for 30 seconds before switching off
entirely. During cooling, the FAN symbol will flash on and off. Once the cooling period
has come to an end remove the plug from the socket.
