Paso 3 i 4. Screw the burner in accordance with the diagrams on pages 13 and 16.
When installing the UMBRELLA/BS version, place the high-temperature silicone gaskets supplied by
the manufacturer and cut to size, with each pane on the left-hand side along the entire length of the
pane, to seal the combustion chamber if the glass chamber is not pre-assembled.
CHOOSING THE GAS POSITION OF THE GARDEN HEATER
The UMBRELLA gas-fired garden heater is a mobile device, capable of moving to any location. There
are, however, restrictions which must be strictly adhered to. Due to the possibility of high temperatu-
res on its external surfaces, the appliance should be kept away from flammable materials, and due to
the open combustion chamber without the possibility of connecting to flue pipes, it should be used
in open spaces or in well-ventilated rooms. It is NOT ALWAYS DANGEROUS to position the appliance in
any other than vertical position.
Notes on the correct and safe installation of the device:
• Connect the reducer to the cylinder or domestic liquid gas installation so that the valve does not
affect the horizontal position of the burner and its other components. Connecting it in any other
way may result in blocking the gas supply to the device. Use appropriate tools for this purpose.
Tightening the reducer by hand is insufficient and may result in gas leakage. Cylinders should be
replaced and/or connected in well-ventilated places.
• Before connecting the reducer, make sure that the rubber gaskets are in place and not damaged. If
this is not the case, the unit must not be used until the gasket has been replaced.
• Remember that the gas cylinder should always stand upright and the cable connecting the cylinder
to the burner should be laid in such a way that it does not come into contact with sharp objects or
edges as well as hot burner elements.
• Check the correctness and tightness of the installed gas control system and the entire gas system of
the appliance. For this purpose, you can use soapy water or a dedicated gas leak detection spray. To
check the tightness, cover with soapy water or sprayer all connections (cylinder-reducer, reducer -
gas hose, gas hose - gas block of the controller, gas block - copper tubes of the spark plug and main
burner, main burner nozzle - copper tube) between the cylinder and the controller and those behind
the gas block, and then light the device so that the gas also fills the section from the gas block to the
burner nozzles. If bubbles appear on the connections, this will mean that there is a leak at this point.
NOTE: The safety distances to flammable materials to be kept as indicated in this manual have
been determined by safety tests. Flammable materials can be called anything that can burn, i.e.
paper, wood, fuels of all kinds, plastics, clothing, etc. The designated space is not limited by non-
-combustible materials, but also applies to flammable materials directly behind non-combustible
objects exposed to the appliance.
If you are unsure about the nature of the flammability of any material within the machine, consult
with the fire department.
Remember that fireproof materials are considered flammable despite their fire resistance. They
can be difficult to set fire to, but they also burn.
