Transport and storage

Consider the weight of the article.

Depending on the design, the DMES−...
can weigh up to 85 kg.
Ensure storage conditions as follows:

short storage periods
cool, dry, shaded, corrosion−protected storage locations.

Conditions of use

Make sure that the following specifications are observed:
Compare the maximum values specified in these operating instructions with

those of your actual application (e. g. forces, torques, temperatures, masses,
speeds).
The product can only be operated in accordance with the relevant safety guide
lines if the maximum loading limits are observed.
Take into account the ambient conditions
S
at your location. Corrosive elements in the
environment (e. g. ozone) will reduce the
service life of the product.
Please comply with national and local safety laws and regulations.
S
Remove transport packaging such as foils (polyethylene) and cardbord.
S
The packaging is intended for recycling (except: oiled paper which must be
disposed of ).
Warning
S Apply power to the drive motor, at first
limited to low speeds and torques.
In this way you will prevent sudden un
controlled movements.
Use the DMES−... in its original state. Unauthorized product modification is not
S
permitted.
Use the DMES−... only in conjunction with a separately switched emergency
S
stop mechanism (see chapter Fitting circuitry").
