Following procedure can be followed for adjusting the voltage:
-
Pull out the power plug and make sure that the power adapter is not
under load.
-
Select a voltage selection plug, from enclosed 6 voltage selection plugs,
that corresponds with the input voltage of your power load.
-
Connect this to the voltage selection socket on the side (the edge of the
voltage selection plug and adapter housing must correspond) and slide
it straight into the housing until it clearly snaps into place.
-
To change the voltage, slide the voltage selection plug out of the
voltage selection socket and insert the desired voltage selection plug
into voltage selection socket (adequately deep pressed into the socket).
A flat screwdriver or fingernail can be used to slide it out.
-
Make sure to push the plug horizontally into the socket
-
Do not insert or remove the voltage selection plug when the
power adapter is connected to voltage source (230 V AC)
Polarity selection for low voltage adapter
Take a low voltage plug (4) that fits your power load (digital camera, etc.). Note
the polarity indicated on the low voltage socket (3) and select the side marked
accordingly when connecting.
If marking on the socket and plug are on the same side = inner contact + / outer
contact – (Illustration 7)
If marking on the socket and plug are in different side = inner contact – / outer
contact +(Illustration 8 & 9).
