The combined waste oil suction/drainer must be used only to drain and change new and waste lubricating oils.
The main components are:
•
Venturi assembly to generate the vacuum
•
Pre-chamber to check the oil which has been removed.
•
Tank where oil is stored..
•
Drain pan
•
Accessory for oil suction (probes and adapters )
•
Please read the following handbook before use.
•
The use of the combined waste oil suction/drainer for a different purpose from that of its original design
can be dangerous for the user and the environment.
•
Especially if used for corrosive or flammable liquids.
•
Do not expose the tank to heat sources or to open flames.
•
Do not carry out welding on the tank.
•
Use only original parts and do not modify any component of the combined waste oil suction/drainer in
order not to compromise safety.
•
Wear gloves or protective goggles when draining particularly hot waste oils since they contain noxious
substances and may cause burns.
For any application which is not mentioned in the handbook please contact our technical department
which will be available to give further information.
•
Insert handle L in its slot and secure it with the screws T provided.
•
Hook tray P to its support.
•
Insert the pre-chamber X sleeve in the central hole of the tank.
•
Put pre-chamber X in position so that the vacuum gauge faces handle L.
•
Lock with ring nut B (partC).
•
Screw assembly S on pan V with an appropriate spanner.
•
Insert pan V complete with stem in the side hole of the tank and tighten with ring nut G.
•
Insert tube Y into tank tube holder and secure with clamp provided, then insert the other end in the tube
holder of stem C and secure it with clamp provided.
•
Secure the waste hose M to the hose fitting using clamp A provided (part A).
•
Insert the grid S into pan V.
•
Assemble the probe carrier D, insert it in the right hand hole of tray P and rest it on base E.
•
Close tap C.
Preliminary operations to be carried out before suction and draining
•
Check that all parts subject to wear and tear do not show any damage.
•
Empty tank or verify that tank residual capacity is higher than volume of liquid to be drained by checking
level H on the side of the tank.
WARNING : The level H indicates the quantity taken in.
•
Verify that tap C is closed.
•
Close tap C.
•
Place drainer under vehicle so that the centre of the pan coincides with the oil plug.
•
Adjust height of collection tray according to the following procedure:
Unscrew ring nut G, position tray near oil drain plug and then tighten ring nut G.
•
Open tap R if intake of oil directly into the tank is required.
