WARNING: the liquid must not exceed the pan V capacity (12 litres).
WARNING: Do not fill the tank beyond maximum level indicated by level gauge H on the side of the tank.
Preparation for suction
Close drain tap C.
Close suction tap Z.
Close drain tank tap R.
The pre-chamber only can be depressurised following instructions 1, in order to intake a greater quantity of
oil depressurise pre-chamber and tank at the same time following instructions 2.
7.
Turn valve U off by turning the knob and release the spring bale N from the knob.
8.
Turn valve U on by turning the knob counterclockwise and hook spring bale N in order to
open the valve which connects the pre-chamber to the tank to allow liquid to flow directly into
the tank.
Connect air source to fitting K paying great attention to maximum pressure (7 bar).
If all operations have been properly carried out the amount of air coming out of the silencer will be
considerable and the vacuum gauge pointer will start moving.
After about 3-4 minutes the vacuum gauge pointer will be in the red section.
The appliance is now depressurised and ready to remove the waste oil.
Disconnect the compressed air supply if the liquid which needs to be changed is 2/3 of the residual
capacity of the depressurised tank
For larger quantities carry out change with compressed air connected to fitting A.
Oil change: oil must be hot (70/80°)
Verify levels H.
The quantity and the state of the oil removed from the motor into the pre- chamber can be verified by
following instructions 1, or, allow the oil to flow directly into the tank by following instructions 2.
1.
Release spring bale N from knob U, so that the valve which connects the pre-chamber to
the tank closes, subsequently oil is sucked into the pre-chamber, then check the quantity
and the state of the oil, press the knob U and secure it with spring bale N in order to let the
oil into the tank.
2.
the knob U to open the valve which connects the pre-chamber to the tank and secure it
with spring bale N.
Use a probe with the largest diameter, some vehicles have an incorporated probe, in this case adapters are
provided.
Connect probe or adapter to plug Z and check seals.
Immerse probe in the liquid which needs to be changed.
Open tap Z and start changing.
During changing make sure that probe touches the bottom.
WARNING: Do not fill up pre-chamber or tank beyond maximum limit indicated by level
gauge H-H1, because if the maximum limit is exceeded then oil will come out of silencer.
When the liquid flow is over verify that the vacuum gauge pointer is not on zero because in this case all the
liquid will not have been changed although the effect of the vacuum is over.
Wait until all liquid has been completely removed.
Turn tap Z off and place the probe in the appropriate carrier.
Close compressed supply tap.
To store or transport a new appliance does not require any special care nor does it involve any risks.
Weight and overall dimensions of the combined waste oil suction/drainer are indicated on page 12.
The drainer is packed in such a way that none of its components can be damaged during transportation.
