3/ USING YOUR APPLIANCE
A. Before using your oven
1. Unpack your appliance and check that all parts and accessories are present and undamaged.
2. Select a suitable position for the appliance on a flat surface close to a power socket but away
from any other heat producing appliance or areas where it may easily be splashed by cooking
grease or water.
3. Plug into a suitable power outlet. As soon as the oven is connected to the power supply, a beep
will be heard.
4. Clean all the parts according to the instructions given in the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section.
5. Choose the BAKE programme; bake empty for about 10 minutes. Then let it cool down, remove
the plug from the power socket and clean all the detached parts again.
6.
Dry all parts thoroughly and assemble them; the appliance is now ready for use.
We recommend that you run your appliance at MAX temperature for approximately 15 minutes prior to
first use.
B. General operating instructions
1. Setting the time
Setting the clock when the oven is plugged in.
When the oven is first connected to the power supply:
1. Press and hold the
a. First, set the HOUR using the plus and minus pads. The hour will change each time you touch one
of these pads.

pad again, then set the MINUTES using the plus and minus pads.
2. "Stop" (cancel) function
Press the "STOP" (Cancel) pad once. This will stop the oven when it is in operation (press again to
continue the set timing or cancel definitively).
To start a programme, press the "DEPART" (Start) pad once. A short beep will be heard, the colon
in the time display begins to flash and the programme starts.
To stop the programme, press the "STOP" (Cancel) pad once; a beep will be heard, indicating that
the programme has been stopped.
Note: Do not press the "DEPART" (Start) / "STOP" (Cancel) pads if you simply want to check the
progress of the cooking; you can do this through the viewing window.
