1/ INFORMATION FOR THE USER

Keep this guide with your appliance. If the appliance is ever sold or transferred to another
person, ensure that the new owner receives this user guide. Please familiarise yourself with
these recommendations before installing and using your appliance. They have been written
for your own safety as well as the safety of others.
A. Safety recommendations
1. This appliance is for household use only.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electric shock, do not place any part of this oven in water or other liquid.
4. Do not let the power cable hang over edge of a table or counter, nor touch hot surfaces.
5. Do not operate the appliance if the power cable or plug is damaged or if there has been any
malfunction of or damage to the appliance. In such an event, return the appliance to your nearest
Authorized Service Center for examination, repair or adjustment.
6. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance's manufacturer may cause
hazard or injury.
7. When operating the oven, keep at least four inches of clear space around all sides of the oven so
as to allow adequate air circulation.
8. Unplug the appliance when not in use, or before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool down before
adding or removing any parts, and before cleaning.
9. To disconnect the appliance, press the "STOP" (Cancel) pad, then unplug from the socket. Always
hold the plug itself, rather than pulling on the power cable.
10. Do not cover any part of the oven with metal foil. This may cause overheating of the oven.
11. Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off from the pad and come into contact
with electrical parts, creating a risk of electric shock.
12. Large food items and metal utensils must not be placed in the oven as they may lead to a fire or
create a risk of electric shock.
13. A fire may occur if the oven is covered by or is in contact with flammable materials, such as
curtains, drapes, walls, etc., when in operation. Do not store any item on top of the oven during
operation.
14. Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: cardboard, plastic, paper or other similar
materials.
15. This appliance has a tempered, safety glass door. This glass is stronger than ordinary glass and
more resistant to breakage. Tempered glass can break, but the pieces will not have sharp edges.
Avoid scratching the door surface or nicking edges. If the door has a scratch or nick, contact our
consumer relations department before using the oven.
16. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
17. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Caution: External surfaces may become very hot during operation of the appliance.
Always wear protective insulated oven gloves when touching the hot oven or hot
dishes and food, or when inserting or removing racks, pans or baking dishes.
