9. Approvals

The SR 500 in combination with half mask SR 900
is NIOSH approved as a tight fitting respirator with an
Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 50.
The SR 500 in combination with full face mask SR 200
is NIOSH approved as a tight fitting respirator with an
Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 1000. The SR 500
in combination with hood SR 520 and face shields
SR 540, SR 570 is NIOSH approved as a loose fitting
respirator with an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of
25. The SR 500 in combination with hood SR 530 and
helmet SR 580 is NIOSH approved as a loose fitting
respirator with an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of
1000.
SR 500 Fan Unit System, refer to the NIOSH approval
label.
The SR 500 respirator components and filtration
media must be used only in the configurations
indicated on the NIOSH Approval Labels.
10. Sundström Warranty and

IMPORTANT NOTICE
WARRANTY: In the event any Sundström product is
found to be defective in material, workmanship, or not
in conformation with any express warranty for a specific
purpose, Sundström's only obligation and your
exclusive remedy shall be, at Sundström's option, to
repair, replace or refund the purchase price of such
parts or products upon timely notification thereof and
substantiation that the product has been stored,
maintained and used in accordance with Sundström's
written instructions.
EXCLUSIONS TO WARRANTY: THIS WARRANTY IS
EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
OR OTHER WARRANTY OF QUALITY, EXCEPT OF
TITLE AND AGAINST PATENT INFRINGEMENT.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Except as provided above,
Sundström shall not be liable or responsible for any
loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, incidental,
special or consequential, arising out of sale, use or
misuse of Sundström products, or the user's inability to
use such products. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH
HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE.
