Initial Setting

Setting the Warning Tone (Warning Tone)

You can switch the Warning Tone function ON/OFF. (Refer to "Warning Tone" on
page 58.)
1. Press the FUNCTION button and select the Warning Tone mode
(Warning Tone) in the Initial Setting Menu.
2. Switch the Warning Tone
ON/OFF with the 5/∞ buttons.
Switching the "Multi-CD" Display ("Multi-CD" display)
Even if a Multi-CD player is not connected to the product, you can switch the source to
select a Multi-CD player. (If you do this, "Multi-CD" is indicated in the display.) You can
switch this display ON/OFF, but if you switch it OFF when there is no Multi-CD player
connected, the source does not switch to Multi-CD player.
1. Press the FUNCTION button and select the "Multi-CD" mode
("Multi-CD" display) in the Initial Setting Menu.
2. Switch the "Multi-CD" display
ON/OFF with the 5/∞ buttons.

Switching the AUX Mode (AUX)

It is possible to use auxiliary (AUX) equipment with this product.
Activate the AUX mode when using external equipment with this product.
1. Press the FUNCTION button and select the AUX Setting mode (AUX) in
the Initial Setting Menu.
2. Switch the AUX ON/OFF with
the 5/∞ buttons.
Switching the Rear Speaker Output (Rear Speaker Out)
This product's rear speaker leads can be used for full-range speaker ("Full Range output")
or Subwoofer ("Sub woofer output") connection.
If you switch Rear Speaker Lead setting to the "Sub woofer output", you can connect a
rear speaker lead directly to a Subwoofer without using an auxiliary amp.
