Operation
Measures to ensure a sufficient supply of
fresh air:
☞ Open the windows.
☞ Open the doors.
☞ Ensure that the window contact
switch and the wall box are installed
and ready for operation.
☞ With heating points which use air
from the room as their oxygen supply
(e.g. fireplace):
Make sure that the mandated safety
devices are functioning correctly.
If you switch the extractor hood on and
hear an unusually loud fan noise:
☞ Clean the extractor hood.
☞ Observe the stipulations for cleaning.
If you switch the extractor hood on and
notice an odour:
☞ Change the filter filling.
☞ Observe the stipulations for changing
the filter filling.
If the filter filling indicator flashes:
☞ Change the filter filling.
☞ Observe the stipulations for changing
the filter filling.

Operating the extractor hood
The extractor hood is controlled via the
battery-operated remote control.
D WARNING!
Risk of fire or electric shock due to
heat or moisture!
The remote control is equipped with a
lithium ion rechargeable battery. Lithium
is highly flammable. The battery can
explode if there is excessive heat or if
liquid enters it.
☞ Never leave the remote control close
to sources of heat (e.g. fire, ovens,
radiators).
☞ Prevent the remote control coming
into contact with liquids.
D ATTENTION!
Risk of damage to the remote control
due to incorrect handling!
The remote control's cover is made of
fragile glass. Dropping, impacts and
blows can damage the glass.
☞ Handle the remote control with
extreme care.
