• When inserting each wire into a connector, press downwards on the connector's
plastic knob (red or black part) & push the exposed metal end of the wire all the
way into the hole above this knob.
• Place the speaker boxes as far apart as possible for best sound effect.
DigitaL cLOcK FunctiOn
The set has a built-in digital clock, which is displayed in 2 situations:
• When the set is in „STANDBY mode". (The display will automatically always show
the current time). In this situation the blue BACklight is normally dimmed (to save
electricity) but you can switch on the blue display light by pressing any key, (on
the set or remote control) except the „on/ STANDBY" key. This will activate the
blue light for approximately 10 seconds.
• When the set is in „on mode" (the blue light of the display is „brighter" in this
mode, to indicate that the set is powered „on"). In this situation the lCD display
normally does not automatically show the current time. But you can press & hold
the „prog./ Clock adj" key for 2 seconds at any time to see the current time. Each
time you press & hold the „prog./ Clock adj" key for 2 seconds the current time
will be displayed on the lCD screen for 5 seconds.
How to set correct time:
1. Switch unit to „stand-by" mode (display light = dimmed).
2. press & hold „prog./Clock adj" for 3 seconds display shows 12 hour or 24 hour
(flashing).
3. press „NEXT" or „BACk" to select 12-hour or 24-hour clock display system &
press „prog./Clock adj" to confirm your selection.
4. press „NEXT" or „BACk" repeatedly to set the correct hour in the display & press
„prog./Clock adj" to confirm.
5. press „NEXT" or „BACk" repeatedly to set the correct minute in the display &
press „prog./Clock adj" to confirm.
6. Correct time is now set & will be shown in the display!

aLarM FunctiOn

Switch unit to "stand-by" mode (display light = dimmed):
1. press and hold „alarm" key. The „alarm" symbol appears in the display.
2. press NEXT or BACk to adjust the hour of the desired „on" time and then press
„alarm" key to confirm.
3. press NEXT or BACk to adjust the minutes of the desired „on" time and then
„alarm" to confirm.
4. Now the display will indicate the „wake up mode" (radio/ CD/ usb/ card/ buzz).
Press NEXT to choose the desired mode & press „alarm" to confirm.
5. The display then shows the „wake up volume level" (loudness). press BACk or
NEXT to decrease or increase the volume level to be used for the music to be
played when the timer switches on the unit at the pre-set time.
6. Press „alarm" to confirm.
7. Finally the unit will return to the normal display, except that the „alarm" symbol
will be shown, to indicate that you have programmed a on alarm setting.
