QUICK COUPLER
NIPPLE
TO YOUR
AIR TOOL
LEADER HOSE
Note: This combined unit with oiler is not suitable for painting
applications (e.g. when using spray guns, etc.), unless the oil is
completely removed and the unit thoroughly degreased prior to
using for spray painting.
• Do not allow supply pressure to exceed the maximum stated
(see "Specifications")
• Ensure that water is drained from air system daily
• Ensure that all parts of the system (hoses, couplers, etc.) are
correctly rated for the air pressure to be used
Filling the oil bowl
WARNING: Ensure that the air system is fully drained and the
compressor is switched off, before attempting to refill the oiler.
• Remove the Oil Filler Cap (5), using a large slotted screwdriver
(not included)
• Carefully fill Oil Bowl (6) with suitable air tool oil up to a
maximum 80% of the bowl. Refer to 'Specifications' for
compatible lubricants. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
USE NORMAL ENGINE OIL
• Refit the oil filler cap and tighten
Operation
WARNING: The Condenser Bowl (9) and Oil Bowl (6) are
manufactured from polycarbonate and must not be exposed to
temperatures above 50°C.
Before each use
• Check oil level in Oil Bowl (6) and top up if necessary to
maximum 80% full (see 'Filling the oil bowl')
• Do not let the oil level drop below 20%
• Inspect the unit and air hoses for wear or damage, and
replace if necessary. Do not use damaged or leaking hoses or
connections
Adjusting the air pressure
Note: Some air tools have built-in regulators, which are used to
control speed/torque performance. Where a machine does not
have a built-in regulator, the speed/torque can still be adjusted
by varying the pressure on your air supply regulator.
• INCREASE the air pressure by pulling the Pressure Control (1)
up to unlock it, then turning it clockwise. Push the pressure
control back down to lock it again
• DECREASE the pressure by unlocking the pressure control then
turning it anti-clockwise. Push down to lock it again
WARNING: For applications that require a very accurate air
pressure, confirm outlet pressure with a calibrated pressure
gauge.
Adjusting the oiler
Note: Adjust oil drop to meet requirements of the air tool you are
using. Refer to the tool manufacturer's instructions.
• Turn Oil Adjustment Dial (3) to adjust the amount of oil
dispensed: '1' small amount; '9' large amount
• The oil drop can be checked by watching the Sight Glass (4)

REGULATOR
AIR SUPPLY
Note: After making adjustments to the air pressure, the oil drop
needs to be readjusted. If you increase the air flow, more oil will
be dispensed; if you decrease the air flow, less oil will be added
to the air.
Draining the condenser bowl
WARNING: Cleaning and draining MUST ONLY be carried out
with the compressor switched off and the air system drained of
pressure.
• The Condenser Bowl (9) will collect moisture and dirt which,
unless removed, will cause serious corrosion to this device and
to machines connected
• Drain the Condenser Bowl (9) daily (or more often where
applicable) by pulling down on the Drain Valve (8) until all
liquid has escaped
WARNING: Never let the liquid level inside the condenser bowl
reach the baffle plate.
Maintenance
WARNING: Always shut off the compressor and depressurise the
air supply before cleaning or carrying out any maintenance.
WARNING: The polycarbonate Condenser Bowl (9) and Oil Bowl
(6) can be damaged and may fail if exposed to certain solvents or
strong alkaline cleaning agents (either internally or externally).
Cleaning
• Press the Bowl Unlock Button (10), twist the bowl clockwise
or anticlockwise until the bayonet connection unlocks, and
remove the bowl
• Wash out using a mild detergent and a lint-free cloth
• Rinse with plenty of clean cold fresh water and dry thoroughly
• To reassemble, first check that the O-ring that seals the bowl
against the body of the unit is clean and undamaged, then
engage the locking bayonet and twist the cup until the unlock
button clicks into its locked position
Note: The Oil Bowl (6) usually does not require regular cleaning.
However, should this be required at any point, follow the removal,
cleaning and reassembly instructions outlined above. Empty all
remaining oil into a suitable, sealed container, and dispose of air
tool oil according to laws and regulations.
Disposal
• As with other power tools, air tools should not be disposed of
with household waste
• Air tools may contain traces of tool oil and other lubricants and
so must be recycled accordingly
• Before disposal, remove Oil Bowl (6), empty all remaining oil
into a suitable, sealed container, and dispose of air tool oil
according to laws and regulations
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on
the correct way to dispose of air tools
