Cleaning and storage

ATTENTION!
❐ Always set the rotary switch to the 0 position and pull the mains plug out of the socket
before cleaning!
❐ Never submerge the motor unit in water or other liquids! Ensure that the motor unit,
cable or plug can not fall in water or are at risk of getting wet.
❐ Clean the blending container and the grinding adapter as well as the corresponding
lids thoroughly immediately after each use to prevent the build-up of germs. Do not
allow any residual food to dry onto it.
❐ The device is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher!
❐ When cleaning, do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners! They could damage
the surface.
• Clean the containers and lids with plain, warm water and a small amount of mild
detergent.
• Wipe off the motor unit with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly afterwards.
• Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling and/or stowing the device.
Store the device in a clean, dry area that is not accessible to children.

Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst. Otherwise contact customer service.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!
Problem

Possible cause/solution
• Is the mains plug properly connected with the socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
• Has the lid been (properly) mounted on the blending container
or grinding adapter? The device can only be activated if the lids
have been properly locked into place (also see chapter "Safety
mechanisms").
• Has the blending container or grinding adapter been been properly
placed on the motor unit? The device can only be activated if the
containers have been properly placed on the motor unit (also see
chapter "Safety mechanisms").
