❐ Never reach in a blending container when the device is plugged in to the electricity
supply or when it has been switched on.
❐ Store the device out of the reach of children!

For your health

❐ There may be some production residue stuck to the device. To prevent health
risks, clean the device and all accessories thoroughly before fi rst use (see chapter
"Cleaning and storage").
❐ Clean the blending containers and lids thoroughly with warm water and a small
amount of mild detergent immediately after each use to prevent the build-up of
germs. Do not allow any residual food to dry onto it.
Risk of electric shock and fi re
❐ Only connect the device to a socket, which has been properly installed and complies
with the device's technical data (see chapter "Technical data").
❐ Lay the cable such that it is not crushed or creased and such that it does not come
into contact with hot surfaces.
❐ Always set the rotary switch to the 0 position and pull the mains plug out of the socket:
– before you remove and/or insert the blending container,
– if you do not use the device for a prolonged period of time,
– before a storm or
– before you clean the device.
❐ If you want to remove the mains plug from the socket, never pull on the cable, but
always on the plug.
❐ Never submerge the motor unit in water or other liquids! Make sure that the motor
unit, the cord or the plug can not fall in water or get wet.
❐ If the device falls in water, immediately disconnect the power supply.
❐ Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
❐ Never cover the device with cloths or the like. Danger of overheating!
❐ Keep a suffi cient distance from heat sources, e.g. hobs or ovens.

Damage to property and the device

❐ Check the device for damages prior to each use. The device may not be used if the
device, the cable, plug or the accessories exhibit visible damages.
❐ If the device is defective, do not attempt to repair it yourself. If the device, the
connection line or the device plug is damaged, it must be repaired by the manufacturer
or customer service or by a similarly qualifi ed person to avoid any risks. In the event
of damage, contact the customer service department.
❐ Only use accessories included in the product contents or exclusively those
recommended by the manufacturer. Only use original spare parts provided by the
manufacturer.
