9. Set the rotary switch (5) to the desired position:

– PULSE position:
The lid (1) consists of two pieces. You can remove the insert in the centre of
the lid to add ingredients during operation.
10. To turn the device off, set the rotary switch (5) back to the 0 position. Remove the
power plug from the socket.
11. Turn the blending container (2) counter-clockwise until you feel resistance and
remove the container from the motor unit (4).

Grinding adapter

1. The grinding adapter (10) is mounted to the motor unit (4) in the exact same manner
as the blending container: Place the grinding adapter on the motor unit and turn
the container clockwise until tight. Make sure that the marking line with the circle is
aligned with the 0 mark on the motor unit after the container has locked into place
(also see chapter "Safety mechanisms").
2. Turn the lid (8) counter-clockwise and take it off.
3. Add the desired ingredients to the grinding adapter (10).
4. Place the lid back on the container and turn it clockwise until tight.
5. Make sure that the rotary switch (5) is set to the 0 position. Then insert the mains plug
in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible.
6. Set the rotary switch (5) to the desired position:

7. To turn the device off, set the rotary switch (5) back to the 0 position. Remove the
power plug from the socket.
8. Turn the grinding adapter (10) counter-clockwise until you feel resistance and remove
the container from the motor unit (4).
The device will continuously work with
speed setting 1 ("slow").
