Positioning the linear module
The intermediate position is
approached from the retracted end
position (EL) of the HMPL-....
1. Push the piston rod of the HMPL-... by
hand into the retracted end
position (EL).
2. Pressurize the retracted end position of
the linear module.
3. Pressurize the extended end position of
the intermediate position cylinder.
4. Pressurize the extended end position of
the linear module.
The HMPL-... is in the intermediate position
5. Pressurize the retracted end position of
the intermediate position cylinder. The
linear module moves into the extended
retracted end position

Start a test run at low speed in accordance with the operating instructions for
the linear module, taking the above mentioned sequence into account.

With the aid of the diagrams in the chapter "Characteristic curves", check to
see whether the permitted extending speed of the intermediate position cylin-
der is observed. If necessary, the intermediate position cylinder must also be
restricted (exhaust restriction).

Conclude the test run.
