The following table will help you locate and eliminate minor faults:
Fault
The appliance does not
function after switching on.
The automatic circuit
breaker in the electrical
distribution board trips.
Motor runs extremely
slowly or stops.

Troubleshooting

Possible cause
Plug not inserted into socket.
Automatic circuit breaker in
electrical distribution board
tripped.
The internal safety switch has
switched off the appliance as
a result of overheating.
Both switches A (7) and B (8)
have not been moved to the
"ON" position.
Too many appliances connect-
ed to the same power circuit.
No fault detected.
Pressure too strong.
The mincer attachment is
blocked.
Remedy
Insert plug.
Switch on the automatic
circuit breaker again.
Allow the appliance to
cool down.
Move both switches to
the "ON" position.
Reduce the number of
appliances on the power
circuit.
Contact customer
service.
Exert less pressure.
Eliminate blockage as
described in the section
Eliminating blockages
(page 22).
