Finishing work
. Turn rotary switch to the 0-position.
D The indicator light or the illuminated ring goes out.
. Turn off the water tap.

. Turn off the mains switch.

Notes
D Do not apply any caustic cleaners to the control panel or rotary switches.
D Do not spray off or clean the appliance with water hoses, high-pressure cleaners, high-pres
sure steam cleaners or general steam cleaners.
D Follow the instructions supplied by the manufacturer of the cleaning product.
D Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
D Stainless steel must not be in prolonged contact with concentrated acids, vinegar essence,
salt solution, mustard or spice mixtures, otherwise the protective layer will be corroded.
Rinse stainless steel surfaces clean and rub them dry after use.
Cleaning and care products
Suitable cleaning and care products can be obtained from your customer service.
These include e.g.:
− Grease-cutting cleaning products or special stainless steel cleaners,
− Limescale dissolving detergent,
− Protective stainless steel cleaners.

D CAUTION The tank can be damaged by
overheating. The appliance must therefore
never be heated without water in the tank.
. Switch on the appliance by turning the rotary
switch to the right and setting the desired
temperature between 50 and 90°C.
D The indicator lamp or the illuminated ring will
light up.
Inserting the containers
. Place food in the containers and insert the
containers in the tank.
. Close the containers with lids.
D Covering the containers
− prevents the food from drying out,
− reduces energy consumption.
. Cover the unoccupied areas of the tank with
a lid.
