I. PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Carefully unpack the device, remove all packaging and stickers except
the one with the unit's serial number. The absence of the serial number
will deprive you of your warranty benefits. Wipe all interior and exterior
surfaces of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Wash the bowl with
warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Odor on first use of the ap-
pliance is normal. In such case, clean the device.
Caution! Do not use the appliance in case of any malfunctions.
After transporting or storing at low temperatures allow the appliance to
stay at room temperature for at least 2 hours before using.
II. OPERATING THE MULTICOOKER
Before Use
Place the device on a flat, stable, and hard surface away from any objects
or cabinets that could be damaged by steam, humidity, or high tempera-
tures.
Before operating, make sure that the outer and inner parts of the multi-
cooker have no dents, cracks or any other visible damages. There should
not be any obstructions between the heating element and the bowl.
Setting the Cook Time
The Multicooker default time can be adjusted for each program (except
QUICK COOK). The time adjustment range and interval depends on the
program selected. To set:
1. Select the program. Press HOUR repeatedly to adjust the hours. Hold
the button down to scroll through the digits.
2. Press MIN repeatedly to adjust the minutes. Hold the button down to
scroll through the digits.
3. To set the cook time less than 1 hour press the HOUR button repeat-
edly to reset to zero. Adjust the minutes using the MIN button.
4. When the time is set (display is blinking) proceed to the next stage
in accordance with the program selected. To cancel all settings, press
REHEAT/CANCEL and reset.
When adjusting the time, consider the time adjustment range and interval of the
selected program in the Table of Default Settings in the back of the Manual.
For your convenience, the time range in all programs starts with the min-
imum setting, enabling you to prolong the operating time of the program,
if the dish is undercooked.
In certain programs the countdown starts only when the device reaches
its operating temperature. E.g., if you set the STEAM program for 5 minutes,
the countdown starts only when the water comes to a full boil providing
enough steam. In the PASTA program, the countdown begins after water
starts boiling and the START button is being repressed.

Your Multicooker RMC-M90A can switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius and
from Celsius to Fahrenheit:

The function enables the program to finish by a certain time. Cook time
may be delayed for a period of 10 minutes up to 24 hours with 10 minute
intervals. When setting TIME DELAY, take the program time into consid-
eration. The time of delay should be longer than the program time se-
lected. Otherwise, the program starts running right after you press START.
